Happy National Smores day! To honor this day I am sharing S’mores Cupcakes!! I love s’mores flavored anything. My favorite summertime Starbucks order has been a Smore’s Frappuccino. There’s something about having a campfire treat without having to have the fire and waiting period. Without further ado I introduce you to S’mores Cupcakes.
The cupcakes are made with a chocolate cake base and topped with a marshmallow frosting then sprinkled with Graham Cracker crumbs and then topped with a piece of chocolate.
This recipe is delicious and simple because I used box cake ( shush don’t tell anyone). First step is to make the box cake according to the ingredients. Note to add to make the cupcakes moist is to add sour cream to the batter.
Now time to divide up batter. And bake for 20 minutes.
The next time you are in the mood for snores and there is not a fireplace or campfire in sight try these Smores Cupcakes you will not be disappointed.

- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 cup of butter
- 2 7 oz jar marshmallow fluff
- 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- Chocolate bars
- Graham cracker Crumbs
Make the cupcakes as directed add the sour cram to the batter.
For the frosting
Cream the butter and sugar for about 3-4 minutes
Stir in marshmallow fluff
Pipe frosting onto cupcake with desired tip.
Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over the cupcakes.
Top with piece of chocolate. Optional
