This week have been super everyone in my house has colds expect me fingers crossed so I super tired. Baby Isaiah still does not sleep through the night so this mama is burning the midnight oil haha. So for this week I am sharing my healthier alternative to fried chicken. By the way I’m addicted to fried chicken so you know I am picky about oven fried chicken, cause who likes soggy chicken not me. When I first tried this chicken I was surprised that they were oven fried I couldn’t believe it. This chicken is perfect for when you want to be healthy but still have the bonus of crunchy chicken. This recipe can be customize to fit what ever flavors you want through unlimited amount seasoning you can add to the chicken. Check out this recipe and let me know.

- 2 cups All Purpose Flour
- 8-10 chicken wings (any pieces works)
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- Pam (Cooking spray)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper (optional)
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Cumin (optional)
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
- * additional seasoning can be added
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees
Rinse chicken off pat dry.
While the chicken dries, prepare the flour. In bag mix flour and the seasoning in the bag, shake well.
Season the chicken with seasoning of your choice. We like our chicken with kick of spice but that is optional.
Line sheet pan with foil and place cooking racking on pan. The cooking racks prevent the chicken from becoming soggy.
Spray cooking racks with Pam
Place 2-3 pieces of chicken in Flour bag and shake well to Coat the chicken. Repeat until all chicken is coated with flour.
Spray the top of the chicken with Pam
Place chicken on the lowest rack in the oven. Cook for about 35-45 minutes in oven. Chicken will be golden brown.
